Stroke Treatment Seminar

On 2 December 2015 Phyathai 2 Hospital arranged a seminar in the topic of “Innovation in Stroke Treatment without the need of surgery” The purpose of this seminar is to educate the participants on stroke treatment.

We were honored to have Associate Professor Dr.Sombat Mungtaweeponsa, a specialist on stroke treatment, gave presentation on the technology for stroke treatment without the need of surgery which receive a considerable attention from the participants who are the representatives from the insurance companies. Lucky draw was also held and the lucky draw winner had received complimentary gift voucher to check the risk of stroke.

Stroke occurs when the blood flow to the brain stops as a result of a blot clot or the bursting of blood vessel. This can seriously affect the brain as the brain cells are deprived of oxygen and if the brain cells lack of oxygen needed, they begin to die. Stroke is considered as a medical emergency which the treatment must be done as soon as possible.
