In addition to extensive care from expertise team, Phyathai 2 Hospital is ready to serve the customers who hold the insurance overseas. Our coordinator will assist the patient to contact with the insurance providers for guarantee payment on their behalf

The Health Insurance Policyholders are recommended to contact their insurance provider in order to check their benefits, coverage and authorization before receiving medical service. IN-PATIENT SERVICE

 

 

Required Documents

 

  • Copy of passport with signature
  • Insurance card or certificate
  • Any other required by your insurance company to identify yourself

 

Our international correspondent staff will assist you to coordinate with your insurance provider / assistance Company including providing medical information regarding the approval of guarantee of payment for your inpatient hospitalization.

 

The payment guarantee / confirmation will be sent to our hospital normally within 24-48 hours if its policy covers. The time consuming will be taken because of...

 

  • Verification process of each company
  • Not enough time to process the application, as the length of stay is too short

  • Terms and conditions of your policy

 

You are required to pay the excess amount at the time of your discharge. There may be some expenses incurred that is not involve in your insurance policy such as medical expenses or room rate that is over the limit, Allowed and personal expenses such as telephone calls, foreign newspapers, extra bed for escorts that are beside of our complimentary.

 

For your information, our hospital will work based on Guarantee of Payment letter for all cases.  

You are required to pay the excess amount at the time of your discharge or before leaving the hospital. There may be some expenses incurred that is not involve in your insurance policy such as medical expenses or room rate that is over the limit, some laboratories or investigation tests, Allowed and personal expenses beside of our complimentary. 

 

 

OUT-PATIENT SERVICE

For an out-patient case, only insurance companies which have contracted with the hospital are applied for medical cashless service. The others, an advance payment would be preferable. The hospital will issue a medical certificate for reimbursement directly with your insurance company. Required Documents

Pre- Authorization

 

To convenient and be certain services to our patients, we do prefer a pre authorization for any cases in order to eliminate waiting time. If you are going for medical treatment, surgery or diagnostic testing, it is important for you as the consumer to know how to obtain a pre authorization from your insurance company. There are steps that you can follow to see whether a preauthorization is needed for your health insurance

For an outpatient

 

You may call your insurance company to identify yourself and to see if a preauthorization is needed. Some insurance companies will provide a confirmation letter to the patient some will not as the policy of the patient. If your insurance company allow for your medical expenses, they will contact to our hospital directly at onestop@phyathai.com. The patient can visit our hospital and receive the treatment per your guarantee.

Planning for Surgery/Admission

 

The patient is advised to inform our staff if you would like to use the insurance. We will collect all necessary documents from you and also provide the relevant medical document for their approval. However, some insurance provider may require the patient to contact them directly as to identify yourself, notify them of a hospital admission or surgery planning to ensure that they are aware of the procedure. Travel insurance

 

Travel insurance refers to short-term insurance which broadly used by tourist while travelling abroad. Our staff will assist you to contact your insurance provider for both in-patient and out-patient basis. However, travel insurance is generally requiring complete documentation inclusive itinerary information for their further consideration. The documents required for travel insurance are:

 

   1. Passport and a copy of your passport with signature

   2. Departure card with arrival stamp for the insurer to verify your travelling date

   3. Current medical insurance certificate or card

   4. A copy of insurance policy

   5. Other documents that may demand from your insurance company
