Alzheimer’s disease in Older People Awareness Campaign

On 21 June 2017, Phyathai 2 Hospital conjunction with Department of Older Persons held the event “Alzheimer’s disease: a common brain problem” to promote public education and awareness of Alzheimer's disease. We were honored by Dr. Anantasak Apairatana, Hospital Director of Phyathai 2 Hospital, and Dr.Thirasak Puenngarm, Chief of Neurological Center, and Miss Jiaranai Boonprasatsuk, Marketing Director to open the event. In the event, the participants received information on the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease–understanding of the disease and its symptoms so that it can be detected and treated early. In addition, participants also took part in the activities related to the diseases including Moca Test, a screening test for Alzheimer's disease, Physical Game, Smell Touch, Visual and Closure Game.
