Phyathai 2 Hospital provides a hospital internship program to two Oman medical students

Between 1-31 August 2016, two Oman medical students from Oman Medical College attended medical internship program at Phyathai 2 Hospital where they are paired with full-time specialists in the specialty clinics such as Orthopedic Institute, Surgery Center and GI and Liver Center. For the duration of their internship, both had a chance to follow our physicians on daily rounds, observing patient consultation and treatment as well as the surgery in the operating theatre. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals provided a good opportunity for them to gain real world experience for the whole one month period.

Having sponsored by Dr.Anantasak Apairatana, Director of Phyathai 2 Hospital, Dr.Nattanun Prasassarakitch, Medical Director and Dr. Thouantosaporn Suwanjutah, Director of Academic Research and Development Department, this program has been considerably successful and has also been praised for its effective training from Oman medical students of Oman Medical College, Oman throughout 4 year period.
