Diabetes Community Knowledge Sharing Health Fair

Phyathai 2 Hospital held the health fair to provide diabetes education and prevention at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. According to AFP news report, people living in South East Asia have changed their eating habits; they are likely to eat more junk food or more unhealthy food and this lifestyle change results in the increasing number of diabetes patient in ASEAN countries particularly Cambodia.

Phyathai 2 Hospital as a healthcare provider where staffed with a diabetes specialist team for the management and prevention of diabetes hosted “Diabetes Community Knowledge Sharing Health Fair" at Sorya Center Point Mall, Phnom Penh. A lot of participants attended the event and discussion which many of them also had the opportunity to receive an initial consultation and diabetes screening with our endocrinologist, Dr.Poonpong Hutachoke.
