Hip Knee Surgery: A Charity Project for Myanmar

During 1-4 November 2016, Phyathai 2 Hospital  in cooperation with Thai Hip& Knee foundation, Royal Thai Embassy, Yangon, Myanmar and Mandalay Orthopedic Hospital held a “Hip-Knee Surgery, A Charity Project for Myanmar patient and Medical Seminar Thai & Myanmar Hip Knee Surgeons” at Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel and Mandalay Orthopedic Hospital, Myanmar.  

We were honored by Dr.Surapong Ambhanwong, Deputy, Chief Executive Officer of Medical and International Business, Phyathai Hospital group and Professor Colonel Doctor Thanainit Chotanaphuti, Chief of Orthopedic Institute at Phyathai 2 Hospital to present and preside at the event. A charity project is organized to provide assistance to poor Burmese, Hip and Knee patients and to build good relations between two countries (Thailand and Myanmar). In addition, participants in the seminar also had gained medical knowledge and skills from orthopedic surgeons of two countries as well as update new medical knowledge, implantation and innovation about hip and knee surgery.
