The number of coronavirus (COVID-19)’s cases is increasing continuously which has seriously affected the world’s population and economy. You can become infected with COVID-19 through droplets when an infected person coughs sneezes or speaks. If you touch a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touch your mouth, nose or eyes, you can also get infected with COVID-19.

Older people or people aged 60 years and over may have more chance of having severe symptoms of COVID-19 as well as people with underlying diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, lung problems. However, anyone can become seriously ill or die from the COVID-19 infection.

Both flu and covid-19 are caused by a virus which spread between people in close contact. The signs and symptoms are also similar includes fever, cough, sore throat, headache, muscle aches, runny nose, and nausea or vomiting. Hence, it is difficult to diagnose whether you have COVID-19 or flu, seeing a doctor and get the testing can help confirm diagnosis.
