Our Services

Tooth Filling
Tooth filling is the treatment of the tooth that is destroyed by adding various types of synthetic materials in the tooth, to replace the dentine that is missing. There are two main type of filling:

1. Amalgam. This is the original material which is made by the components of mercury, silver, copper, and lead. The advantage is cheap. The disadvantage is that it may darken the black teeth and, there may be mercury contaminated into the body.
2. Composite resin. The advantage is that the teeth’s color is similar to natural teeth. That is to make your teeth beautiful, not darken over time, and safe for your health. However, there is a disadvantage, which is the higher price than Amalgam.

Dental Scaling
Dental scaling involves removing plaque and tartar on the tooth caused by bacteria that has accumulated from food scraps, or protein stains that remain in the mouth until the plague builds up. When the plague accumulation continues, it turns into tartar.

Scaling helps maintain oral health; reduce yellow stains on teeth and bad breath caused by tartar that can lead to swollen gums, gingivitis, root canal inflammation, or periodontitis. It also helps increase confidence when smiling and help enhance our personality from yellow teeth caused by tartar or plaque.

Dental X-Rays
Dental X-rays use electromagnetic radiation to capture images of your mouth. It is the same type of radiation used in medical X-rays such as chest x-ray and abdomen x-ray. However, the total radiation exposure is less so it is highly safe and cause significantly fewer complications.

Images obtained from X-rays are black and white images with varying degrees of color intensity depending on the absorption of radiation. The bone will be seen in white color while the fat and other tissues that absorb less radiation appear grey. Therefore, the dentist can perform dental exam and the alveolar bone thoroughly, assess the risk of having tooth decay or other dental issues and able to plan the treatment suitably.

Orthodontics
Orthodontic is a dental treatment aimed at aligning teeth into the proper position, by using orthodontic tools. There are various types of orthodontics tools, depending on the individual’s suitability. Orthodontics can resolve various dental issues, such as misalignment caused by the condition of overcrowding, deep overbite, open bite, overjet, underbite, cross bite occlusion, or diastema. Benefits of Orthodontic:
1. Helps achieve beautifully aligned and proportionate teeth.
2. Improves chewing efficiency.
3. Enhances a more attractive smile.

Root canal treatment
Root canal treatment involves eliminating bacteria and infected tissue in the root canal area. This process includes cleaning and applying antimicrobials to the root canal affected by inflammation or infection. Once the infection is erased, the dentist seals the root canal and restores the tooth through a procedure known as root canal treatment. This involves removing the infected or inflamed nerve tissue from the affected tooth and accessing the pulp cavity and root canals. Antimicrobial is applied, and then the entire root canal is sealed with a filling material. Benefits of Root Canal Treatment:
1. Patients use their natural teeth with roots intact to their alveolar bone, providing greater strength compared to using dentures.
2. No more toothache as the dentist removes the nerves and blood vessels in the nerve chamber during treatment.
3. Utilizing a microscope in root canal treatment enhances visibility due to its high magnification capabilities. This is particularly beneficial in cases where the nerve cavity is narrow or obstructed. It aids in locating fractures, investigating perforations in the tooth, identifying openings within the tooth, and revealing any other imperfections that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Dental Implant
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed into space in the jawbone left by the missing teeth. After that, denture or crown will be done to attach to the artificial tooth roots. The material for dental implant is titanium that is durable, and able to support the chewing well. The body also responses well to the titanium; there is no allergy or resistance. It reduces inflammation on oral tissue and the bone cell attaches quickly, hence the dental implant is strong. It helps chewing become as good as before. With the elaborate step of tooth creation, tooth implant allows the patients to perform activities with confidence.

Gum disease treatment
Gum disease is caused by a build-up of plaque on teeth. Dental plaque appears white; a small amount of dental plaque cannot be seen as the color of the plaque is the same as of the teeth. If plaque remains on the teeth for long period, it hardens to create tartar which results in more plaque accumulation. The plaque that adheres along the tooth creates toxins that inflame the gums as the body responds. If gum disease is left untreated, it can lead to periodontitis in some patients which is the main cause of tooth loss in adult.

Gum disease can be treated with dental cleaning with appropriate brushing and additional dental equipment to prevent the accumulation of plaque that is the main cause of the disease

Root Planing
Root planning is done to remove plaque, tartar and bacteria that have built up beneath the gumline. The method is similar to general scaling. The difference is that general scaling removes tartar and bacteria from the teeth that appear above the gum, but root planning remove tartar and bacteria approximately 3 millimeter beneath gums.

Veneer
Dental veneers are very thin, transparent coverings placed over the front surface of teeth that resembles natural tooth enamel. Veneer makes the teeth more beautifully aligned and more proportionally suitable to the face and lips. Veneers also can make teeth whiter. Veneer can last 10-15 years depending on the usage, the treatment of dental specialist according to physician standard and the quality of the material. Veneer can be divided into two types which depends on time factor and the expenses of the patient.
1. Composite resin veneers applied directly to your teeth to make the color same as the natural tooth. The price is not high but it is not durable as it has the color absorption properties.
2. Porcelain veneer that is made from ceramic. The advantage of ceramic is it does not absorb the color but the price is high.

Orthognathic Surgery
Orthognathic surgery is the treatment for malocclusion, shape, and jawbone ratio. These cause abnormal facial shapes, such as prognathism, mandibular retraction, short and round faces, facial distortion, anterior tooth overjet, and gummy smiles. In patients with moderate misalignment, orthodontics may be sufficient. However, in cases of severe misalignment, it should be required with orthognathic surgery as well.

Orthognathic surgery is generally a safe procedure when performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in collaboration with an orthodontist. Orthognathic surgery should be done when patients have stopped growing, around the age of 18 for females and 20 for males.

Surgical Removal of Impacted Tooth
Surgical removal of the impacted tooth is minor surgery on the mouth, by using an anesthetic particularly in position, to remove the impacted tooth. The gums must be opened together with bone grinding or grinding between teeth to easily pull the impacted tooth.

Surgical removal of the impacted tooth is an effective treatment method for solving issues related to the impacted tooth. It can alleviate pain and prevent infections along with other oral problems.

Embedded Tooth Surgery
It is a surgical removal of embedded teeth from under the gums or jawbone to reduce damage in the mouth area caused by embedded teeth under the gum. The purpose of embedded tooth surgery can be divided into two points as follows:
1. Surgery to remove the embedded tooth from the mouth. It is like removing wisdom teeth or damaged teeth.
2. Surgery to restore the embedded tooth to its proper position, commonly used in cases where the tooth is embedded in an essential position, and should not be withdrawn.

Teeth Extraction
It is a method of maintaining oral health by extracting teeth that cannot be treated or extracting teeth from the tooth socket that might create the problem in the future from many reasons. The tooth extraction must be performed under supervision of dentist or dental surgeon only.

Dental Crown
Dental crown is restorative treatment of the teeth that has lost more dental pulp which cannot be treated by other options or the teeth that has undergone canal root treatment. Crowns are made to preserve the remaining tooth pulp and replace lost teeth for durability. In order to make the crown, tooth must be ground down to allow the crown to fit properly. A crown is a fixed denture that covers the entire tooth (full crown) and covers some part of the teeth (partial crown). Dental crowns are made of various types of material ranging from metal, ceramic, resin and zirconia.

Tooth denture
These are teeth and gums that are artificially created by a dentist to replace your missing natural teeth. Dentures can include one tooth, several teeth, or the entire mouth. It may just be part of the tooth, or also parts of the gums.

Pedodontics
Since the baby is born, parents should use a cloth moistened with boiled water to clean the child mouth and should take the baby to visit the dentist when the first baby tooth starts or not later than 6 months after having the first baby tooth. Pedodontics consists of the following:
1. Dental treatment, instruction on dental care and cleaning the mouths and teeth of children at different ages
2. Prevention of tooth decay both baby tooth and permanent teeth by fluoride varnish and dental sealant
3. Treatment of tooth decay both baby tooth and permanent teeth such as dental filling, root canal treatment, dental crown, tooth extraction and wearing dental appliance to prevent falling teeth
4. The growth and development of the teeth such as teeth clenching, dental occlusion, crowded teeth, and crooked teeth.
