To be convenient to our patients, we do prefer a pre authorization for any cases in order to eliminate waiting time. If you are going for medical treatment, surgery or diagnostic testing, it is important for you as the consumer to know how to obtain a pre-authorization from your insurance company. You may call your insurance company to identify yourself and to check whether a preauthorization is needed. You are required to pay the excess amount at the time of your discharge or before leaving the hospital.
